County office telephone outage
Telephone service for most El Paso County elected and administrative offices is out Thursday morning, according to a news release sent by the county.
The unplanned outage has affected all county administrative offices in Centennial Hall as well as the offices of the Clerk and Recorder, the county assessor, treasurer, and the Pikes Peak Workforce Center.
Century Link and Cisco Systems are working to restore service to the offices, but there is no estimated time when telephone service will be restored.
The emergency response numbers for the Sheriff’s Office, as well as the phones for the court and District Attorney’s Office were not affected.
